Our Team
Krithicka and Jennifer met when their sons were in primary school together. They soon found a common passion in bettering communal health outcomes and have been coordinating their efforts through small initiatives as volunteers in their local communities. With their parental responsibilities becoming lighter, they decided to take their passion, energies and skills to the next level by incorporating Hand in Hand Healthcare Solutions LLC in the summer of 2021. They look forward to an exciting, fun and fulfilling journey!
Jennifer Fasciano, MD, MPH
Jennifer was born and raised near Rochester, New York. She did her undergraduate studies in bio-medical engineering at Boston University, combining a love of math with a pre-med track. There, she met her future husband, a fellow biomedical engineer. She spent a year doing bench lab research at Johns Hopkins University before pursuing her MD degree at George Washington University. During her neurology residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, her experience in patient care showed her that much of the suffering from illness could be prevented through more thoughtful and ethical public policy and community health education. This led her to an MPH from The Boston University School of Public Health with a concentration in health law and bioethics. She spent the next 20 years using her skills in many volunteer capacities while raising her 3 wonderful, talented children. One highlight was a 6 year stint on the Middleton Massachusetts Board of Health where she saw yet another side of healthcare in action in local government. Her family relocated to Clinton Township, New Jersey with her husband's career change . Since her move, she has been very active in various roles both in school-based groups and community health organizations pioneering refreshing change and enrichment. As a volunteer at Hunterdon Hospice, she got back to spending time with patients and was reminded what is so important about the caring work of those who make a career in healthcare. She has spent the past several years doing community outreach through several meaningful programs including one at the local food pantry helping connect clients with a medical home. Jennifer met her business partner, Krithicka Raghunathan, about 9 years ago when their sons became friends in school. The idea of developing Hand in Hand Healthcare Solutions came out of many conversations about the gaps in healthcare and the myriad of possibilities to work to fill those gaps. Together, they incorporated their consulting business Hand in Hand Healthcare Solutions LLC in the summer of 2021. Passionate and astute, Jennifer brings a very unique perspective to the healthcare landscape combining the viewpoint of a clinician with that of social medicine. When not working, Jennifer enjoys playing the piano. and has been in classic rock bands with her husband for almost 30 years, including one with her children. The groups perform regularly at the local town events and are a mini celebrity in the Clinton township with a steady fan following.
Krithicka Raghunathan,
MBA, MPH, CHES
Krithicka Raghunathan was born and raised in India before relocating to the United States in 1998 following her marriage. While the move interrupted her successful career in finance in India, it gave her the opportunity to switch her pursuits toward a lifelong passion - healthcare. She decided to focus on healthcare access and quality, two challenges she had experienced personally even while in India. She graduated with an MBA in Health Care Administration from Villanova University as a first step in her new career. After graduation she served as an operations consultant for a group of surgery centers in New Jersey supporting both services and business development. Another relocation found her in Fairfax, Virginia. She pivoted her career to the provider side serving as the Director, Physician Services Department at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital, VA. In this role she oversaw medical staff credentialing, compliance and service delivery including several quality aspects. While this experience brought her face-to-face with provider challenges and solutions, she also realized that these solutions were designed without a comprehensive understanding of the consumer end and community impact. She went back to school to study and research these aspects in pursuit of a Master of Public Health degree from George Washington University with a specialization in Global Health and Program evaluation and design. She worked on the consumer and community end of healthcare through the Community health departments of local hospitals such as Hunterdon Medical Center supporting and overseeing programs focused on better health outcomes. She was part of the Rutgers Talent Development Center at the Rutgers University concentrating on grooming workforce talent for healthcare from underserved populations. She served as the Outreach manager for net. America Corp on their Youth Apprenticeship Intermediary Program demystifying apprenticeships and supporting programs for high demand healthcare occupations. Outside of her professional life, Krithicka enjoys hiking, yoga and meditation, organic gardening, photography, creating art with watercolors and pastels and cooking for family and friends.
